Mommy and Daddy along with Nana and Poppy took me to the Newark Fire Muster. It was so much fun! I love firetrucks and sirens! I am definitely Poppy's grandson!!!! We saw a parade, bagpipes, met some of Poppy's friends, ate lunch (okay not me!), and saw lots of firetrucks- new and old!! Poppy, Elie and John Michael got to ride in one of the firetrucks in the parade! I wanted to ride too, but Mommy said I have to wait until next year....I am still too little. Well, get ready Newark Fire Muster 2012....Owen will be riding!
Corey and Jake were supposed to meet us at the fire Muster too....but Corey got sick and couldn't come! I am glad he is feeling better, but I missed them both! We found Ladder 1- which was my great-grandfather's fire company! Poppy and I took a picture with that firetruck! I think I want to be a fireman....I liked pretending to drive the truck. I will take after my mommy's family if I do....my Poppy was a 4th generation Newark Firefighter!!! Over 100 consecutive years!!!! It stopped with Poppy!! I wonder why Mommy or Auntie didn't follow????? Hmmmmm.....
